Bill O'Neal
has performed publicly for many years, both
here and in Ireland. His long term engagements include
Fiddlers
Green in Co. Down, Sweeney's Saloon, Billy's Irish Pub/Tir na
nOg, Phillips' Tavern and The Historic Eagle Tavern in Trenton; Shenanigan's in
Manasquan; The Dubliner/Dublin House in Red Bank; Ye Olde Anglesea
Inn in Wildwood; and, most recently,
Dúbh Linn
Square in Bordentown.
Bill has performed regularly with
life-long-friend Joe Kramer, Tom McCloskey, James McCarthy, Mike McKinstrey, James Briney, Victor "The Vicar"
Monaghan, Paul Olko, Ed "Animal" Arnold, George Zenowicz, "Irish" Joe
McMancuso, "Irish" Billy Briggs, Jody
Giambelluca, Nancy Ferguson, Carl Dougherty, James "The Wee, Fat
Fenian Fellow from the Falls Road" Watson, Bob Tighue, Paul Kennedy, Andy Koontz, Chris
Finnegan and others.
A longtime member of Ewing Presbyterian Church and its
choir,
Bill now sings tenor in the St. Mark Church choir.
Bill is a high school teacher of English, technology liason to the
National Writing Project at Rider University, a Dodge Poetry fellow, vice president of The
Friends of the Wm Green Farmhouse, and a member of the
Historic Preservation Advisory Committee to the Lawrence Township
Planning Board.
He, his wife, and their children
live in
Central New Jersey. Their Federal Period home is listed on the state and national
registers of historic places.
